We launched our Checkout SDK back in December 2023, supporting major card brands and digital wallets as payment methods.
In our new enhancement, we’ve added an additional payment method along with an improved 3DS workflow to the pre-build UI (User Interface).
What is included in this release?
1. PayPal is now available as a payment method
Currencies supported: EUR, GBP, USD
You can now add PayPal via the Checkout SDK with minimal development effort.
2. We’ve improved its 3DS workflow
3D Secure 2 (3DS2) authentication flows for card payments are now handled entirely within the Checkout SDK.
Previously, platforms needed to integrate a separate 3DS component. In this release, we’ve fully integrated 3DS handling for seamless payment authentication for card payments processed within Mangopay’s ecosystem.
Other enhancements
We’ve also implemented these technical features, allowing for more customization:
- You can now customize post-payment logic through onPaymentComplete event
- You can now make card registration optional
- Support has been added for the following currencies for card payments: AED, AUD, CAD, CHF, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, JPY, NOK, PLN, SEK.
