Visibility and control should come built-in when managing complex payment flows, just as our clients do every day. That’s why we’ve introduced two new features to the Mangopay Dashboard: role-based access control and security history. Both are designed to make access management and activity tracking more transparent and secure, while keeping day-to-day operations efficient with clear supervision across every action.
The new access control system introduces more granular default roles, giving teams more consistent permission levels. Custom roles have been removed, so permissions are now managed through a defined set of built-in roles, and the list of available role types has expanded to cover a wider range of needs. Main roles such as Admin, Sandbox Admin, Developer, and Read-only remain available, now within a more structured framework.
This new approach improves security by making sure each user only sees and manages what’s relevant to them, reducing the chance of accidental data exposure or unauthorized access.
It also makes daily management easier. When a new team member joins or someone’s role changes, their access can be updated quickly. Instead of adjusting permissions one by one, admins can apply predefined roles in just a few clicks, saving time and keeping access clear across the whole team.
The new Security History view keeps a record of every important action taken, including financial transactions and user management: what happened, who did it, when, and with what details. These logs are easy to search, and filter by user or date, giving admins quick access to the information they need.
For Dashobard admins,, this adds a new level of trust and accountability to daily operations. Whether reviewing user changes, tracking transactions, or preparing for audits, teams now have a single, reliable source of truth to refer to.
As teams grow and user bases expand, so does the number of people interacting with your Dashboard. These updates help you keep permissions clear and every action traceable.
