Additional Local payouts are now available in: - Australian dollar (AUD) - Hong Kong dollar (HKD - Singapore dollar (SGD) - Mexican peso (MXN) - Turkish lira (TRY) Over the last 12 months, Mangopay processed more than 15,000 payouts worth approximately EUR 70+ million in these five currencies combined. By bringing those flows onto local payout rails, we are making existing global activity easier to operate while giving platforms more room to grow in these markets.  ## Five markets, one payout infrastructure Platforms want to offer a local experience in every market they enter, but delivering that involves adding new banks, integrations, and operational processes country by country. The more markets a platform serves, the more fragmented the infrastructure behind those experiences can become. Payouts are a good example. A global platform may already hold funds in Mexican pesos but, without access to local payout rails in Mexico, paying those funds into a Mexican bank account can still require an international transfer. The same can apply to payouts in AUD, SGD, HKD and TRY. With Mangopay’s new like-for-like local payouts in these new currencies, platforms can instead direct those payments through domestic rails. Local payouts have a dual significance. On the backend, they make payment flows easier to track since funds stay in the same currency from collection to payout. On the front end, they are part of how platforms create a better experience in each market they serve. For platforms, these local payouts offer several advantages: Keep funds in the same currency. When platforms already transact and hold funds in one of these currencies, they can pay beneficiaries in that currency without additional FX conversions. Improve payout economics. Local routing reduces reliance on correspondent banking and removes the additional costs that can come with cross-border transfers. For example, in Turkey and Mexico, receiving an international transfer can carry significant fees, like over TRY 1,000 at some Turkish banks and around USD 17–30 at major Mexican banks. Deliver a more local experience. Users in these markets are accustomed to fast, local ways of moving money and increasingly expect the same from the platforms they use. Local payouts are much faster than international rails, letting platforms meet those expectations more consistently Create outstanding wallet experiences. For platforms using wallets to manage user balances, stronger local payout capabilities give users more flexibility over what they do with their funds, whether they withdraw them locally or keep value within the platform for future transactions. Expand without rebuilding payout infrastructure. Platforms can add local payout coverage in new markets through the same Mangopay integration rather than connecting separately to local banks. ## Local payouts within a global payment setup Adding local payouts in AUD, SGD, HKD, TRY and MXN gives Mangopay customers more ways to deliver those local experiences while managing them through the same global payments infrastructure.
