The company’s influence is particularly strong in key European markets - France, Italy, Spain, and Germany. Their successful business model has resulted in substantial annual revenues exceeding 1.1 billion euros. With their success story in the background, Maisons du Monde has started on a new journey to increase their operational performance and improve user experiences. To achieve this, they chose to partner with Mangopay and set out the following key objectives: - Implement a seamless migration plan involving 800 sellers without causing any interruption to marketplace operations. - Integrate PayPal as a viable payment method. - Separate the pay-in and payout flows which were initially managed in one stack by a single provider. ## A high-stakes plan: building a bridge while driving on it The main challenge during the integration stage was maintaining service continuity.
